Now, another incriminating document has been revealed in court: the parole records of Phillip Garrido, in which he confesses he kidnapped and raped Dugard.
Although he and his wife have pleaded not guilty to 29 counts related to Jaycee’s abduction and captivity, Garrido’s parole records may be all the prosecution needs to prove these two are monsters.
The 120-page document details several conversations between parole Officer Santos and Phillip Garrido. Officer Santos brought Garrido, who was a convicted rapist, in for questioning after seeing him with Dugard and her two daughters. He told the officer all three were his neices, and when Dugard was brought in for questioning, she said her name was Allissa.
But then, after local police were called in to interrogate Garrido, the report says Garrido confessed: “A long, long time ago I kidnapped and raped Allissa.”
When Dugard was asked back for more questioning, she revealed her real name, explained that she had been living with the Garridos since they kidnapped her, and told officers that Garrido was the father of her two daughters.
